A Monthly Curated Newsletter

In the last issue, we discussed how robots will change our lives in the future. It has become increasingly important for us to keep our minds on the ball, stay sharp and stay progressive. If half the jobs in 2020 are yet to be known to us, how can we prepare ourselves and our children today? To face a fast changing future, we need to first understand it. We need to try and take a peek into this future and start to embrace change.

What skills does Singapore need for the future economy?

We live in a time when roughly half of the jobs in 2020 are not yet known to us, and conversely, half of the jobs today will be extinct.

Wendy L,. Shipping Clerk

Wendy is like a friendly sister to me. Apart from handling my insurance, Wendy also shows her care for my personal issue such as career growth. Would definitely recommend her to friends and family who need her professional advice.

Samuel H,. Graphic Designer

Wendy is good at picking up points of interest throughout our conversation. This makes her succinctly place useful and important points across without having too much information going at hand. She helps to explain the policies clearly and at any moment when I needed more knowledge and understanding and she never fails to invest time to elucidate my enquiries. Keep up the awesome work!

Amber L,. Medical Social Worker

We spend so much time avoiding FCs that we may somehow miss good ones when they come by. It has always been a challenge for me to find a reliable financial consultant, and I know some of you feel the same way. If you are looking for someone who doesn't treat you like a stranger but respects you as a friend, Wendy is my recommendation. Wendy is approachable and she has a pleasant disposition. No matter how young or mature a client you are, she will treat you with respect and courtesy. Wendy goes the extra mile and offers help beyond expectation. I remembered how she could organize data and consolidate that info into more apparent notes for my easy reference. Wendy always comes prepared for the appointments and ensures that I can comprehend the information well. I am thankful for Wendy and grateful to have her as a friend and agent. I want to reiterate that I do not regret joining the #YESYEOCANFAM because I have a great experience thus far.

XQ,. Customer Service

Was pretty skeptical about insurance at first but after talking to Wendy, I felt that having coverage is important. She is not a pushy agent that only wants sales but she looks at what’s my needs. Her product knowledge and her after-sales service is good 😊

Bao Chuan,. Translator

I first met Wendy online through Zoom because it was during the C19 times that she began managing my portfolio. She listens to her clients, not just for the financial planning process but also for your overall preferences (such as me being an introvert and preferring to do most things over text, except when we do our annual review)! As I started my financial planning journey quite a while ago, Wendy helped me see the areas that were weaker at my current stage in life, such as planning for when I get older because, let's be real, our retirement ages are getting older too, and what worked for me 10 years ago may be a little bit lacking now. Wendy is an easygoing and approachable person. She isn't pushy, but she shows me all the options available and lets me make the decisions myself. She makes our meet-ups convenient and is totally open to even meeting me at a pavilion near my house when my place isn't available. 😂 Wendy is a good consultant to have (even if it's just in your contacts!), especially for the ladies, because she knows what you need and you don't have to worry about your questions being silly as she answers complicated concepts in a way that you'll understand."

Norman C,. Regular Officer

Wendy was really professional in the whole planning process, explaining the importance of financial planning, be it through investment or insurance. She was also patient in explaining how investment works and how she does her homework to be kept abreast of what is the economy and market like and make more informed decisions. Wendy is very friendly and approachable and what I think is most impressionable is that instead of hard selling, she takes the time to explain the different plans and recommends what is affordable and reasonable based on your financial abilities.
